Don't wait for me!

My courses aren't ready to roll out yet, but in the meantime I'd like to share some other resources that support the Flourish mission: "helping people flourish in life".

An essential part of flourishing in life is being in touch with what your experience actually is. With our busy lives we often rush right past it. That's where building a mindfulness habit comes in. Mindfulness is about paying deliberate attention to your experience with curiosity and compassion. It includes meditation as most people think of it, but also the attention we pay to daily life.

If you'd like to start a mindfulness meditation practice, you might like to try this online program: Mindfulness in May. It looks nicely constructed for people who are new to it. It goes for the month of May, and entails just 10 minutes of meditation a day, so not too daunting for beginners. There are some great talks by very credible teachers, and a bunch of reminders and resources designed to help you start a meditation habit.

It costs $49 for the whole month program and is also raising money to provide clean safe drinking water to communities around the world. You can get people to sponsor you to meditation every day...just like those charity walks.

I'd love to hear how it goes!
